How it Works: Booking
Please feel free to check our session availability and choose a day and time for your visit. Once you find a suitable time slot, select your preferred session length and let us know how many dogs you’ll be bringing. After that, proceed to check out and make your payment. All payments must be processed through our website’s secure payment gateway, and we accept payments from all major debit and credit card providers.
How it Works: Accessing the Field
Once you have made a booking, you will receive an email confirmation. About 40 minutes before the appointment starts, you will receive an email and text with the code for the padlock. Please note that this code changes regularly. Your time slot includes the time required for both entering and leaving the field, as appointments are scheduled back-to-back. It’s important to be considerate of the previous and next users, as their dogs may be reactive and require their own space.
If you arrive early, please stay in your vehicle until the previous session has ended and make sure the previous attendee has put their dogs in their car to avoid causing distress to any nervous or reactive dogs. When you enter the field, make sure to close the gate behind you to prevent your dog from escaping or allowing unauthorised access. Finally, when leaving the dog field, please remember to close and lock the gate, ensuring that the next user enters their code to gain access.
How it Works: Our Facilities
Our secure dog exercise area spans 3.4 acres and features a 1.8-metre-high fence, manufactured from high-tensile steel to ensure your dogs’ safety and avoid escapes. On-site amenities include a water tap for refilling water bowls and a 3-metre by 3-metre gazebo over a picnic bench to provide shade on a hot day or shelter from the rain. There is a convenient parking area, which is accessible through a rolled stone entrance.
You are responsible for picking up and removing your dog’s waste and leaving the field clean for the next user. Please do not allow your dogs to dig holes in the field. Misuse of the field will result in losing the ability to make future bookings. You may only exercise your dog within the designated secure dog walking field. Failing to comply with these rules may result in a ban from Walkies at Bridgwater. Thank you for your cooperation!
