Walkies at Bridgwater is a secure dog walking field located on the fringes of Bridgwater. Our 3.4-acre field offers security, privacy, and an enclosed space for you to safely exercise your dog off-lead, either in a group or alone, amidst the picturesque Somerset countryside.
The field is perfect for dogs with poor recall, newly adopted, reactive, or boisterous dogs, and those that simply enjoy some time to themselves.

Our goal is to provide an environment where dogs and their owners can play and enjoy themselves in a stress-free setting. If you need an enclosed area for your dog to roam freely without a lead or muzzle, or if you’re looking for a safe space to work on their recall ability, Walkies at Bridgwater is the ideal place for you!
Our exercise field is particularly suited for sensitive and nervous dogs that have had negative experiences with other dogs and can no longer socialise safely. It is also great for dogs with poor recall that cannot be trusted off-lead.
During your session, you will have sole use of the field, allowing you to relax knowing that your dog is safe and secure, able to run and play without being disturbed. The dog field is perfectly suited for puppies, rescue dogs, or anyone who wishes to train their dog off-lead in a secure environment.
About the Dog Field & Your Session
Covering 3.4 acres, our dog walking field in Bridgwater is fully enclosed and offers private use for up to eight dogs, in sessions of either 30 minutes or 60 minutes, depending on your needs. We have availability from 5am to 10pm, seven days a week, 365 days a year, including Bank Holidays, so you can book sessions that fit around your work, school, and other commitments.
The dog field is completely surrounded by a 1.8-metre-high fence, ensuring that your dog is safely contained and cannot escape by jumping over, digging under, or squeezing through the fencing. We also provide a water tap on-site for filling a water bowl for your dog, a 3-metre by 3-metre gazebo with a picnic bench for shade or shelter from the rain, and a parking area accessible through a rolled stone entrance. Please note that you will need to bring your own toys and poo bags, as these are not provided.
Rules for Visiting
When you visit our dog walking field in Bridgwater, please read and follow the rules outlined below:
Visits to the dog field are strictly by appointment only.
Please remain in your vehicle until the previous session has concluded.
Use the field at your own risk.
You are responsible for your dog’s behaviour.
All dogs brought to the field must be properly wormed and vaccinated.
A person over the age of 18 must always supervise the dog.
Please clean up any dog waste immediately and take it with you when your time slot ends. Failure to do so will result in a ban.
All litter must be taken with you at the end of your session.
